| Description: | Communications Engineering Company, an industry recognized systems integrator, is looking for a high level Systems Engineer to support our Professional Sound and AV systems sales in the eastern Iowa market. An established market leader and positioned for growth, CEC is strengthening our team to enhance the customer experience and gain market share. |
| Duties: | CEC is looking for a (pre-sales) Systems Engineer to perform the following duties:
•Design and quote Professional Sound for churches, auditoriums, and stadiums; AV control and teleconferencing systems for boardrooms; intercom, and overhead paging for schools.
•Understanding of AMX control systems for commercial audiovisual applications;
•Drive an enterprising AMX product line;
•Work with customers and the CEC team to manage multiple projects and provide pre-sales technical support;
•Partner with sales team to provide customer consultation on control system.
•Travel to client facilities for site survey and analysis and to present our unique solutions.
•Prepare design drawings and documentation to support our solutions.
•Travel and attend as necessary, manufacturers' training;
•Other duties as assigned.

| Qualifications: | Minimum Qualifications:
•Minimum 3 years experience in Professional Sound and/or Audio Visual industry -- CTI Certification a plus.
•Knowledge of standard software for DSP set up, switcher set-up, etc.
•Exceptional communication skills; written and verbal
•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
